Things to do in MississaugaLocated less than an hour from downtown Toronto and a half hour from the Toronto International Pearson Airport, the city of Mississauga is also Canada’s sixth largest city. As part of the Greater Toronto Area, many people are relocating here to live and work. As a result of the city’s growth, there are a number of activities and culture to enjoy here. If you are working on the border of the city, this is a great location to consider for corporate housing. Here are just a few things to do in Mississauga that you dont want to miss out on trying.

The Living Arts Centre
Since 1997, The Living Arts Centre has been Mississauga’s central performance venue. You can see a variety of shows here from opera and symphony to drama and dance. The whole family can also explore the arts, crafts, and visual arts studios year-round. LIVE Cuisine restaurant is also on site for pre-performance meals.

Located across from Square One Shopping Centre and City Hall, Mississauga Celebration Square is the central location for free outdoor events. Lounge on the lawn and relax by the interactive water feature (fountains in the summer; an ice rink in the winter). Activities that feature arts, culture, and heritage are celebrated year-round from the farmers markets to the Imagination Park where the whole family can play various games featuring blocks and technology.

Port Credit and Streetsville
These quaint villages add a little flair to the greater region of Mississauga. Streetsville offers historical walking tours as well as regular events like yoga in the square. Popular festivals like the Bread and Honey Festival and the Taste of Streetsville attract locals and visitors alike. By the lake, Port Credit is a seaside getaway from the city. Ride your bike along the trails near the harbourfront, stop for an ice cream at the infamous Diary Cream, or indulge in a nice dinner at Snug Harbour with a lakeside view by the lighthouse.

Square OneShop!
Mississauga offers some of the best shopping in the Greater Toronto Area. From the ever-expanding and central Square One Shopping Centre to outlet malls Heartland Town Centre and Dixie Outlet Mall, there are a variety of choices and prices for all of your shopping needs. Skyzone and Scooters Roller Palace
Not just for kids, Skyzone is the world’s first indoor trampoline park. The park offers an open jump, a SkySlam court, SkyRobics fitness classes, Ultimate Dodgeball (when available) and a Foam Zone. For those who would like to keep their feet closer to the ground, Scooters Roller Palace offers inline and roller skating lessons in addition to all-ages open skates. These are great activities for the whole family!

Delsuites’ Staff Experience Furnished Apartments First Hand

Sometimes having a different perspective on a familiar situation not only makes you rethink how you react but it can also help you make even better decisions. Over the past few weeks, DelSuites staff members have taken part in an initiative that had everyone spending an overnight stay at one of the company’s 13 properties. 

Along with enjoying the quite comforts of the fully downtown toronto apartments, the staff members were asked to provide critical feedback about their stay including the ease of their check-in to the comfort and quality of the linens. That’s right, staff members even got down and looked under the furniture on the hunt for any lingering dust bunnies.

From the moment she arrived, Accounting Manager, Amanda Yau says she was pleased with the speedy check-in and security measures taken by the staff at Mississauga’s Grand Ovation before releasing her arrival package. But her positive experience didn’t stop there, as Yau says, the impeccably clean suites and comfortable living room furniture were perfect for enjoying the exceptional view. 

In the heart of Toronto’s downtown core, Account Manager Enid Bigornia echoes her colleague’s sentiments with her stay at the ICON.  Her furnished apartment offered a fresh and airy environment that she found relaxing, “the furnished apartment was spacious with nice high ceilings,” says Bigornia. Along with a keen eye for cleanliness, at the Yonge and Eglinton location of Republic, Guest Services Manager, Erin Conaty found the elegant décor of the suites, created a welcoming atmosphere, especially for guests who are new to Toronto.

Beyond the sparking nature of the suites, Alex Wong Manager of Digital Marketing and Interactive Design would visit James Cooper Mansion any time just to be in the hub of the city. With its proximity to shopping venues and restaurants, Wong says this new development hasn’t missed a detail. 

While everyone’s needs and wants are a little different, each of the guests enjoyed their experience and were able to gain some valuable insights; ones that may instill a few changes and tweaks to the services we provide. The Sky’s the Limit : DelSuites Furnished Rentals In Mississauga

In the living room, moveable leather cubes provide additional seating which can be easily double as side tables or moved to another area when not in use.

In the bedrooms, a relaxing retreat awaits guests where crisp white linens complement the clean lines of the bedroom furniture, while hypoallergenic pillows and duvets are a welcomed addition for guests. The suite’s bathrooms were also redesigned in an effort to create a consistently contemporary feel throughout.

Beyond the fresh interior designs at Skymark West, these short term rentals in Mississauga are now equipped with up-to-date technology such as iPod docking stations and high definition, LCD flat screen televisions in both the living room and master bedrooms. In addition guests can also take advantage of high definition digital cable packages that will guarantee your viewing enjoyment of the latest movies, television and sports.

Although the building amenities and services at Skymark West remain the same, you’ll enjoy the fresh new look that can be found when you open the doors of one of these newly designed suites.
